Vinification: We whole cluster press into one year old Francois Freres and Seguin Morear barrels. Stirring the lees continues until ML finishes, usually by mid-January.

The 2022 Chardonnay Cahill Lane Wineyard offers a compelling mix of fruit, depth and structure. Apricot, Mint, Chamomile,Dried Flowers, crushed rocks are all beautifully delineated. This shows very good depht and fine balance within the context of the year. 92pts
